CLIENT - The V&A Museum
PROJECT - The Alexander McQueen launch
Deliver a bespoke whisky bar experience on a short timescale to VIP guests in a beautiful but challenging building.
We liaised with the brand, venue, logistics and bar design teams to ensure that we had a comprehensive plan in place to deliver the event and subsequently transport the bar to our storage hub in Scotland. Our site visit and pre event report meant that we were well informed of the logistical difficulties and could plan accordingly in order to seamlessly execute all elements of the event.
Our careful planning meant that in the short time available at the drinks reception element of the evening we were able to engage with the guests in a way that exemplified the brand standards.
- 200 + Drams poured
- Brand exposure to 700 VIP key influencers
On The Ground:
The Alexander McQueen launch was the high profile opening party for the McQueen retrospective at the Victoria and Albert museum, at which RAWK delivered bar and ambassadorial support from the “Last Great Malts” bar.
The bar was located in a key entrance hall and RAWK’s careful planning and preparation enabled the serving of a large number of drams in a short period of time whilst still providing well informed advocacy to the VIP guests.
The delicate nature of the building and the inherent restrictions in place to protect it meant that a site visit and risk assessment were imperative to enable a smooth delivery of the event whilst presenting no risk to the integrity of the building.
Because of the VIP nature of the event the brand image was hugely key and the full kilt suits worn by the team set the tone for a high level of engagement and brand advocacy.
